The article examines the processes of feedback and monitoring in the educational process with an emphasis on the effective use of digital data in the interaction between a student and a teacher. The key tools and methods of digital monitoring that facilitate the prompt receipt and interpretation of educational information, ensuring individualization of learning and increasing the motivation of students are analyzed. The advantages of digital feedback are noted, and existing problems and challenges related to technical limitations, digital competence of teachers and data privacy issues are identified.
