This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations and practical aspects of the formation of students' scientific worldview in physics lessons in comprehensive schools in the context of educational reforms carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The concept of scientific worldview, its structural components (knowledge, views, beliefs, ideals) and functions are revealed. The special role of the subject of physics in the development of such skills in students as scientific understanding of objective reality, scientific assessment of natural and social phenomena, understanding of cause-and-effect relationships is substantiated. The article considers didactic and educational conditions aimed at the formation of a scientific worldview, including the development of activity and cognitive independence of students, the implementation of interdisciplinary connections, the connection of learning with life. Innovative pedagogical technologies and methodological approaches are also proposed to solve existing problems in the formation of a scientific worldview in the education system of Uzbekistan.
