The purpose of this article is to determine the effectiveness of using physical activity to memorize vocabulary in high school. The physiological factors of the impact of physical activity on students are described. The importance of integrating physical activity into the educational process is substantiated. Examples of the appropriateness of using active exercises and games in foreign language lessons, their use to expand vocabulary, and the development of students' language and additional skills are given.
