This article examines the role and importance of pedagogical practice in the educational process in the formation of students' professional competencies. The concepts of practice and competence in the context of professional education are analyzed on a theoretical basis, and the mechanisms of their development are considered. The study is based on a theoretical approach and enriched with real-life examples and statistical data. The conclusion provides recommendations for planning pedagogical practice and its effective implementation.
