The article considers innovative approaches to teaching volleyball as an academic discipline and sports practice. The need to introduce modern technologies and methods aimed at developing motivation, technical and tactical skills in students is substantiated. Examples of digital solutions, gamification and integration of biomechanical feedback are shown. Difficulties in the conditions of mass and professional volleyball training and ways to overcome them are considered.
