The article analyzes the educational views of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in his work "Boburnoma" from a pedagogical point of view. The personal experience and life observations reflected in the work are considered a rich source for the spiritual, moral and patriotic upbringing of the younger generation. Babur's pursuit of knowledge is evaluated as educational criteria that can be used in the modern educational process.
