This article highlights the role and importance of philosophy in the national education system of Uzbekistan. The educational tasks, methods, forms of philosophical education and its integral connection with modern processes are analyzed. Also, based on the philosophical heritage of such great scholars as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Navoi, the issues of forming respect for national values, independent thinking and social responsibility in the minds of young people are considered.
