Abstract
This article examines measures aimed at increasing the level of media literacy in higher education institutions and their practical significance. Media literacy, that is, being active in the information and media environment, plays an important role in developing modern knowledge and skills of students. The article analyzes programs, methodologies and practices aimed at increasing media literacy in higher education institutions.
