This article discusses the issues of social protection of youth in the state policy of Uzbekistan. The importance of pedagogical and socio-pedagogical approaches in supporting youth is analyzed, analytical conclusions are given based on existing legislation, programs and scientific literature. Also, ways to strengthen social protection of youth and the effectiveness of modern pedagogical approaches are indicated.
