This article is based on the study of the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of professional deformation in primary school teachers. Professional deformation occurs mainly in the work process and is manifested as a result of the teacher's strong fatigue, stress, and problems in the work process. The study studied the personal and professional characteristics of primary school teachers - emotional exhaustion, level of motivation, attitude to work, and effectiveness in pedagogical activity. The role of external and internal factors in the formation of professional deformation is also analyzed. The article suggests ways to identify, prevent, and reduce professional deformation from a psychological and pedagogical point of view. The results of the study are of great importance in developing pedagogical and psychological support strategies in working with primary school teachers.
