This work analyzes the possibilities of commercialization of intellectual property, its role in increasing economic efficiency and its importance in innovative development. Intellectual property objects - inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and copyright objects - are considered an important resource in the modern economy. This annotation covers the main forms of commercialization of intellectual property, including licensing, franchising, technology transfer and mechanisms for implementing it in practice through startups. It also considers the problems that arise in the process of commercialization and ways to solve them. As a result, it is argued that the effective management of intellectual property and the ability to generate income from it are an important factor for business development.
