The advantages of state registration of patents and brands, in particular, ensuring exclusive rights, protection from competition, increasing investment attractiveness, and creating an additional source of income, are scientifically explained. The need for timely legal protection of intellectual property objects and its strategic importance in the development of the national economy are also revealed.
