The article provides a sociological analysis of the impact of internal and external migration processes on family stability, marital relations, child upbringing, the distribution of family responsibilities, and demographic processes. On the one hand, migration contributes to increasing household income and covering expenses related to housing, education, and healthcare. On the other hand, it may intensify long-distance marital relations, weaken parental supervision of children, increase the caregiving burden on relatives, and raise the risk of divorce. According to international sources, in 2024 the number of international migrants worldwide reached 304 million, while international remittances amounted to approximately USD 905 billion. In Uzbekistan, migration also remains an important factor influencing the family economy and social stability.
