This thesis is devoted to the issues of early detection of common types of eye diseases and improvement of clinical differential diagnostics. The goal is to substantiate treatment tactics aimed at preserving visual function in outpatient and inpatient stages. As a methodology, the standardization of anamnesis (disease history) and examination, integration of biomicroscopy, tonometry, perimetry, OCT and laboratory approaches are highlighted. The scientific novelty is to propose a step-by-step algorithmic decision-making based on risk factors and clinical signs.
