The services of the deceased linguist A. Ishaev in studying the language of folk epics are also incomparable. In his articles, the etymology of many words belonging to archaic and historical, as well as Uzbek dialects, the importance of comparative study of related Turkic languages, the reduction of word forms, the morphological nature of some words in epics, the role of words acquired from other languages, and their ideological and artistic functions are covered in detail.
